Indoor air quality is important to homeowners as new pollutants are continually introduced into the air we breathe, resulting in allergies and contributing to illness, This is why CR Air Services recommends air filtration systems for our clients.

We feature media air cleaners, which are 100 times more effective than a standard 1″ throwaway filter performance that has been verified by Environmental Health & Engineering, Inc., and the Harvard School of Public Health! these filters only need to be replaced twice a year – in the spring and fall. CR Air Services, Inc. provides these filters with our service agreements at a discounted rate (call for details)..

Ultra Violet lights (UV Air Purification ) are installed in the airstream to kill mold spores, bacteria and airborne viruses that enter the conditioned space . They also eliminate odors from mold, mildew, smoke, and pet dander.  Using the air cleaner in combination with a UV light provides you and your family with the peace of mind that comes from a cleaner, healthier home. This set-up is ideal for homes where occupants have severe allergy and repiratory problems.

Indoor air quality is also greatly impacted by the humidity level in your home. Because we live in South East Texas, humidity is of particular importance to us, reduce energy consumption, and healthier. That’s the kind of ideal home environment CR Air Services, Inc. strives to deliver.

The right level of humidity can make your home more comfortable, and that’s the kind of ideal home environment CR Air Services strives to deliver

The dehumidification feature is designed to work cohesively with central heating and air conditioning systems to control humidity levels in the home. Improved humidity levels also positively contribute to your overall air quality by helping to reduce the production of allergens.

Air Conditioning systems are one of the largest investments made by homeowners. Therefore, it is important that you feel comfortable with the Company and Brand that you choose to work with.

There are many important factors to consider when purchasing your new system, and newer systems are technologically advanced and possess many great benefits and features. One of the most important steps to assess your need and match it to the most effective solution.

For example, does the entire home need to be air conditioned, or a single room? How often will the AC be used? If needed occasionally for a small area, a ductless model may be more appropriate. However, if air conditioning is needed for the entire home, a larger solution may be required.

With an idea of the type of air conditioner needed, it is important to think about energy costs. Air conditioners can consume a significant amount of energy, and some units are more energy-efficient than others. Comparing models and selecting one that saves energy while performing effectively can significantly reduce monthly electric bills.  Look for the energy star seal when choosing a system that has a high efficiency rating.

Of course, the price of the unit is a consideration as well. However, this should not be the only point considered. Quality service and installation are important factors to evaluate as well.

When you choose to work with CR Air Services Inc., we’ll walk you through the entire process to ensure that you invest in the right system to meet the needs of your family and home. Trust CR Air Services, Inc. for quality, professional work. Call us today for a free in home consultation

Heat pumps offer energy efficiency and can be surprisingly affordable. They provide both cooling and heating comfort from a single A/C system and can lower the cost of keeping your home comfortable all year.

These systems are designed for rural areas where natural gas or propane are not readily available and/or the fuel price is high. The heat pump works as pair with your existing central system. When electric heat strips are your main source of heating to your home, they consume on average 3-4 times (approximately) the amount of electricity as your central air conditioning unit. In these cases, your bills are much higher than your summer cooling costs

A heat pump system is an air-conditioner that serves as both your primary heating and cooling source. It is designed to reverse the refrigeration cycle (refrigerant flow) so that the cooling coil (evaporator) is outside and the heating coil (condenser) is inside by the use of a solenoid reversing valve and a refrigerant accumulator. The heat pump works in conjuction with electric heat strips so that if the outside temperature drops below 35 degrees, the heat strips pick up the slack. This set-up is much more efficient than electric heating alone and has a high return on investment. Some model heat pumps are operable down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit without the use of supplementary heat strips.

With high SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating of 16 SEER and better, the heat pumps offered by CR Air Services, Inc. are expertly installed to work alone or together with your existing system to maximise overall and yield even higher SEER ratings than individual units alone.  Remember, the higher the SEER rating, the greater its efficiency and the lower your operating costs.

New units are so efficient that they meet the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Energy Star program. They also come with limited lifetime part and replacement warranties.(Some Limitations apply.)

Ask us about our selection of high performence high-efficiency heat pumps we’ll gladly provide you with all of the information you need to make the best decision for you home and family.

Selecting the right furnace for your home is a choice in technology, energy efficiency and reliability. The right furnace minimizes temperature swings that occur year-round, from floor-to-ceiling and room-to-room. So, it is important that you have a furnace that is designed to last.

CR Air Services, Inc. recommends furnaces that have durable heat exchanges and two-stage heating technology for maximum heat transfer and energy efficiency in every season. Tubular heat exhangers are available with lifetime parts and unit replacements depending on models. Energy efficiency is the number one concern of most buyers and can be determined by these factors:

  • AFUE Ratin (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency)-up to 98%
  • Comfortnet Communicating Controls
  • Dehumidification Controls
  • ECM Motors
  • Modulating Furnaces
  • Multi-Speed Blowers
  • Two-Stage Gas Valves
  • Variable Speed Blowers

Efficiency of today’s furnace have evolved from the standard 80% single speed furnaces of our past. They have increased in value to the consumer, while decreasing worry to the homeowner, with industry leading warranties, keeping the consumer confident with peace of mind for years to come. Our furnaces also come with a limited lifetime parts and unit replacement with 10 years parts and labor warranties. If a heat exchanger fails under the original registered owner, the manufacturer will supply a new unit for free! Installation is not included.
